Each Dish Starts out as a piece of 3mm sheet steel, the sheet is cut into a square and the edges are sanded smooth. Next The Lines for the Crosscut Texture are marked onto the steel, and are carefully cut into.
The Dish is Then Heated in the Forge a few times and is gently formed into its final Dished shape, opening up the Crosscut Texture
And creating a gorgeous Fire Scale Texture from the Forge.

These Forged Dishes are then Wire Brushed to remove the soft scale created in the Fire, leaving a shining mix of bare metal and hard scale texture.
The Dishes are treated with several layers or clear lacquer Giving them an attractive shine. And to protect them from oxidisation & to prevent rust.
