Each Dish Starts out as a piece of 3mm sheet steel, cut into a square and the edges sanded smooth. The Lines for the Crosscut Texture are then marked onto the steel, and are carefully cut into.
The Dish is Then Heated in the Forge a few times and is gently formed into its final Dished shape, opening up the Crosscut Texture
The Forged Dish is then Wire Brushed to remove the soft scale created in the Fire, leaving a shining mix of bare metal and hard scale texture.
The Dishes are treated with several layers or clear lacquer Giving them an attractive shine. And to help protect them from oxidisation & rust.
